About Victoria

Your yacht will look even shinier here

Victoria is a city of history and natural charm. It is the capital city of British Columbia, Canada and is consistently ranked among the world’s top destinations. Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, just 140 km/75 nautical miles from the city of Vancouver (host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics), Victoria is a safe harbour city with a mild climate, heritage architecture and a rich cultural life. The Victoria International Marina will offer convenient moorage slips within Victoria’s protected harbour, with a waterfront walkway connecting you directly to the heart of the city.

The city is wonderfully walkable. A scenic walk along the Inner Harbour leads to interesting pubs and restaurants — more per capita than almost anywhere else in North America. Antique shopping on Fort Street, boutiques for the fashion-forward on Lower Johnson, the world-class Royal BC Museum, and countless other local shops housed in grand heritage buildings have much to offer the strolling visitor.
