Management Team

Community Marine Concepts, the developer of the Victoria International Marina, is a partnership between WAM Development Group and Robert Evans. Western Asset Management was established in 1987. Over the past 20 years, the company has developed or acquired over 9 million square feet of real estate space, including retail, office, residential and industrial projects. In 2001, the company changed its name from Western Asset Management to WAM Development Group. WAM offices are located in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, Vancouver, B.C, and Phoenix, AZ

Lachlan MacLean joined WAM Development Group in 2008 to take a lead role in the development of the Victoria International Marina. Lachlan brings a wealth of development experience to the project, having previously held the position of CEO with Australia's largest marina group, d'Albora Marinas. In addition to directing seven marinas with 1,400 berths, he led the team responsible for delivery of the new 72-slip Victoria Harbour Marina in the Docklands District of downtown Melbourne in 2007.
